This is the first time that I've used Seesaw and I am hopeful. Things are a little rocky right now, but I am trying my best. I've made a few assignments on Seesaw that relate to what we are doing in the classroom. This cuts down on the amount of paper that I have to keep up with. All I do is check the assignment after they turn it in and then grade it from Seesaw by adding the grade in the comments. I've added a few examples of assignments that I've created. You can click on the links below to see examples of the assignments.

In the near future, I plan on using google classroom a lot more. We currently have math workbooks and it can get a little daunting when trying to grade all the papers. By the end of the week, I have a stack of papers that is about two feet high and that causes me MUCH anxiety! We use GoMath in our district. My plan is to add student worksheets to Google Classroom and have students work on those pages from there and post their work. I'm still in the experimentation phase at this time. So far, I've used Google Classroom in my guided reading groups for answering questions about a book. I like this because it records their responses and I can see their grade immediately.
My main purpose of using these technology tools in the classroom, is to cut down on my anxiety about grading mounds of papers each week. I can't tell you how many times I've gotten behind on this and I feel this tightness in my chest because I feel like I'm drowning. I'm hoping that this will alleviate some of my anxiety and stress at work.
