Each group had to research information about a different human body system and create a poster representing what they learned. They then had to present it to the class when they had a finished product.
The kids had fun with this activity. I handed everyone an outline of a hand and they had to glue items onto the hand that were rough, smooth, soft, hard, & bumpy. Each finger was labelled so they know what to put on each one.
We recently ended our unit on magnetism in second grade! They always enjoy using magnets in the classroom! We learned how magnets are used in our every day lives and then they explored things are magnetic and things that are not magnetic by going on a scavenger hunt around the classroom. We created the above anchor chart. They added their observations to the chart by drawing on a sticky note and labeling their picture.
