Number search--Have kids walk around the room and find the numbers and then circle each number that they find. I just had them find 1-13 and then draw thirteen things at the bottom of the page.

Earth day! I got this while I was substitute teaching. It is supposed to be made into a book and pictures are supposed to be drawn in every circle representing what is written.

                                        This is an activity that I did in a kindergarten classroom. They were learning about 3D shapes and they used these shapes to create a picture. They really enjoyed doing this activity. It was engaging and hands-on.

Making letters using cut out paper. This is similar to a puzzle. Students have to use the paper pieces to create a letter.

Living and nonliving things.

  I got this from another teacher. She made this using plastic plate, fishing wire, beads, and number cards.

This was an activity that went along with the shape theme. I had the kids label shapes around the room using cute out shapes. They had a lot of fun with this activity.
